  • What will happen if I do not pass the Covid-19 phone screening? 

    By law, we will be required to postpone your dental appointment until you have been tested for COVID-19. For more information regarding how to get tested, please contact your health care provider or call the Niagara Region Public Health Info-Line at 905-688-8248, press 7 then press 2, or chat online.

  • What is Niagara-on-the-Lake Dental doing to help ensure the health and safety of patients?

    We have the following patient protocols in place to ensure your health and safety during your dental appointment:● We will ask you COVID-19 screening questions by phone approximately 24 hours before your appointment and when you enter the office.● Reschedule if anyone in your home has been sick within the last 2 weeks.

    No, you do not need to wear a mask to your appointment.

  • How do you screen patients for COVID-19?

    We screen patients by phone 24 hours before scheduled appointments at Niagara-on-the-Lake Dental. We also complete screening forms with patients in the office immediately upon their arrival for their appointments.

  • When is COVID-19 patient screening done?

  • How safe is the air for patients in the dental office?

    We've installed medical-grade air purification systems in every operatory. These filtration units continually purify the air, killing airborne contaminants, and viruses, including the novel coronavirus — all part of keeping you healthy and safe while we take care of your smile.


  • How do you filter and clean the air in the dental office?

    We use Aeris and Surgically Clean Air filters help to sterilize the air in our clinic. Zinc mineral and silver ion filters remove bio-aerosols, odours, gasses, disinfectants, particulates, molds, fungi, bacteria, and kills viruses from aerosols (including the coronavirus).


  • How safe is the air when filtered?

    To ensure your safety at our clinic, the 0.1μm H-14 HEPA air filters we use eliminate 99.995% of airborne pollutants — including the novel coronavirus — which can spread disease and endanger sensitive lungs.



  • How often is the air filtered?

    The air in our dental clinic is thoroughly filtered 30 to 35 times per hour, helping to ensure it's contaminant-free all day long. Rest assured that you can breathe safely while we care for your oral health.
